Dr. Rose is a very insightful and compassionate psychologist who is able to really hone in on the heart of the matter. He's got a great sense of humor and is very enjoyable to talk to, and I would expect that anyone who sees him would feel the same. He's professional and knowledgeable as well, and I would happily refer anyone I know to him, feeling comfortable that they would receive very high quality care.
I have had the pleasure of working with Jennifer Prewitt for many years as a fellow licensed clinician. Jennifer is compassionate, dedicated, genuine, and goes up and beyond for those she works with in therapy. She is able to make sound judgment when it comes to the safety of her clients and maintains the upmost level of confidentiality along with being ethical. I highly recommend her for various therapy needs.
(10/17/2018) I have no comment, pro or con, about Thriveworks Chesterfield Counseling in general. I give 5 stars to Jenny Warne, my wife's and my "couples" counselor. In a relatively short period of time, Jenny has guided us through a process to reconcile some of our interpersonal relationship issues, resulting in a happier 54 year old marriage. We continue to meet regularly with her, and come away from every session with helpful guidance. Thank you, Jenny!
I worked with Anna Cameron, LCSW many years ago at a hospice company. She always put her clients’ needs first, maintained professionalism, and went above and beyond for her patients. I highly recommend her as a counselor and a social worker.
I had the pleasure of working under Anna Cameron as a supervisee. Anna’s extensive experience and knowledge helped me to develop my own clinical skills. During my time working with Anna, she always demonstrated a passion for the work she was doing and the people she was helping. Anna was always willing to go out of her way to assist me with any dilemmas or questions in my own practice. I am grateful to have had someone with as much clinical experience and passion as Anna as an LCSW supervisor. I would highly recommend Anna!
A very unassuming building which houses many different Counselors. I have been extremely fortunate to have found Jeff Whitfield. I have been seeing Jeff for almost 6 months and every visit has yielded profound guidance and often revelation. He is extremely good at his craft, every visit feels like I am chatting with a friend rather than the intelligent, caring, compassionate and committed professional. The Thriveworks Group has made everything so easy. Always a friendly, helpful voice on the phone. Whether it is to make or change an appointment. No messy paperwork, billing is seamless. I am no stranger to "therapy" given my age and life experiences. Seeing Jeff Whitfield has made such a dramatic improvement in my life that I always look forward to my appointments and I have never left after an appointment feeling anything less than "Improved".
My teenage son went to see Jeff Whitfield and it was a fabulously positive experience. His counseling style mixes modern techniques with faith-based counseling (only when identified as a goal) that provides opportunities for growth and connection. He also had the wisdom to treat the whole family as well. Very positive experience, highly recommend!
Based on my experience, Kristen has a reliably way of connecting with teenagers. She has an innate ability to listen and is genuinely understanding. I recommend her and Thriveworks anyone in need of mental health support.
Have utilized services here both professionally and personally and are impressed with the expediency and support of your staff. Jeff Whitfield is the utmost professional and is compassionate about the well-being of his clients. He works tirelessly to assist them in garnering effective coping skills, independence, and self-worth, and is an advocate for those that cannot advocate for themselves. I would recommend him to teenagers struggling with self-esteem issues or adults, couples, or families. He has been an asset to our family, for sure!
Julie Best Wilcox does an excellent job as my clinical supervisor. She has a lot of experience working with both children and adults and a wide variety of diagnoses. While the supervision experience is very much supervisee driven, Julie occasionally assigns "homework" and constantly challenges me to better myself and my own clinical work in a supportive manner.
We are so pleased with this practice and the work of Julie Wilcox. Her ability to relate to people at all levels, set boundaries, coach and counsel people in a way that they can incorporate coping strategies into their life is outstanding. Also love the ease of availability through text and email and keep front desk scheduling and reception out of the mix. I would recommend Thriveworks and Julie Wilcox to anyone.
I am very impressed with the both the therapist and the prescriber. I like the set up of the practice; not only very cozy but also very convenient. Not often you can find a therapist and prescriber under the same roof. It makes it easy with the busy schedule to have all your needs taken care of on the same day.
I've had the opportunity to refer ct's to Kirby for medication management and time after time they thank me for connecting them to her. Kirby is a competent prescriber that not only treats the symptoms but she also treats the person. If you are looking for a prescriber that is professional and respects your autonomy, look no further because Kirby is your choice!
Jessica Soule was my colleague as a therapist for 4 years. She's a very competent therapist who has great clinical skills to help her clients meet their goals.
Kristen Lee is a dedicated counselor with a wealth of knowledge and experience! She is compassionate and engaging, utilizing theoretical skills while developing interpersonal relationships. Ms. Lee is positive, supportive, and committed to providing optimal services!
I’ve had the opportunity to work with Julie Wilcox on two different levels. I’ve been her coworker as a clinical supervisor at a mental health agency for several years; overseeing the provision of home based services. For the past two years, she has been my clinical supervisor as I work towards becoming an LCSW. Julie is undoubtedly one of the best social workers I’ve met in my life. She is truly awesome!! Julie always puts clients first and ensures that they are receiving the best care possible. She remains person-centered with her treatment and practices a multitude of core social work principles daily. She is a solid advocate for clients and does all that she can to ensure clients are treated with the utmost respect and dignity. She is an excellent trainer on an array of topics. She’s trained us on cultural competency; conducting assessments; crisis services; and trauma-focused treatment, to name a few. She is hands-on and spares you the boredom of PowerPoint presentations. Julie’s very creative regarding training and interventions that she provides and she teaches her colleagues how to use them too. In my experience as her supervisee, Julie has taught me so much. She taught me how to sharpen my assessment skills; improve my clinical writing; interpret the DSM5 and give accurate diagnoses; to process my approaches with clients; to increase my self-awareness and be the best that I can be – live practice for the exam. The list goes on and on. Julie’s a great social worker and excellent clinician. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a therapist or a clinical supervisor.
A great location and staff. Some of the best people you will ever meet. Ashley is amazingly helpful, caring and courteous; expect to be treated like family and feel comfortable with an experienced and educated team.

Kristen Lee is a caring and individual oriented counselor. She continuously improves her knowledge in her field and does not rest on her laurels. She works tirelessly to help those that come under her care and is very attentive to whomever she is meeting with.
My son has had great success in dealing with Anxiety with Katy Webb. The play and art therapy she provides is very motivating for him.
Great office - I love the drinks and the refreshments for families. They have toys in the waiting room for kids to play with. There is music and it's never too loud or too crowded. My family members see Katy Webb and she has helped them do better in school. They are happier and motivated to get good grades. thank you. I feel welcome every time.
I wanted to let you know that we have worked with Ms Katy Webb for almost 4 months and she has been a blessing for our family. She is not just a therapist, but somebody that is involved in the progress and full well-being of the individual. She reviews every angle and is precise on her diagnosis. Our son has made very good progress with her. He is starting to become more independent in his life as well as in his appointments. He has never been able to sit by himself in an appointment before (because of his high separation anxiety) but he will sit with Katy Webb. Also, Ms. Webb helped us confirm a medical diagnosis that was missed by collaborating closely with my son's primary care doctor. Now we can help help my son feel better because he's being treated with the right medicine. My son is making good strides in the social support group and is not as afraid of peers or friends anymore. He enjoys going to her support group gatherings and enjoys the activities/snacks she has for them. We love to work with her and she is a really awesome person.
If you have the opportunity to work with Lisa, you just hit the jackpot. She is one of the most caring and compassionate people I have ever met. Expect to be fully accepted in her presence; and rest assured you will walk out of her office with a new outlook, some new ideas, and most likely a smile.

The counselors are incredible. Ms. Warne helped me through a very difficult time in my life. Her patience and understanding was never ending. I highly recommend seeing a counselor here for anyone that is going through a hard time or just needs to talk to someone.
